TREATMENT OF RAW PIECES IN GAM TECH

Deburring and sandblasting of castings are always included as a basis. But we don’t stop here. If you want more options, we are ready to meet your needs with polishing as well. The properties of the material are improved with heat treatments and hot isostatic pressing (HIP), all of which is carried out before mechanical processing, impregnation, painting and casting coating. We have implemented numerous hardness tests on materials and parts to guarantee maximum reliability and time savings. Our quality experts perform testing directly on our premises, ensuring that your raw part meets our high standards. We have the necessary equipment available internally to perform radiographic and endoscopic tests.
Visual inspection and optical measurement are fixed items on our checklist: these test methods are standard and are performed on every casting. Furthermore, we carry out chemical analysis of the melt to ensure that the part material is also top quality. In our commitment to quality, we also use metallography to analyze the microstructure of metallic materials. We perform non-destructive testing to evaluate cast hardness and mechanical properties on separately cast test bars. All analysis and test results are carefully documented in a test certificate, providing you with complete traceability.
